Reading have finally confirmed the news that Mathieu Manset has left them for Swiss side Sion.
The confirmation comes a week after Sion unveiled Manset as a new arrival on a three year deal. Reading Director of Football Nicky Hammond told the Royals' official site the fee was 'undisclosed' with sources close to the Premier League side suggesting the fee was £750,000.
If so, the Bulls would be looking at a 15% share of the profit made over the £300,000 or so paid so far by Reading.
Meanwhile, Alan Connell has joined Bradford on a two year deal from Swindon. The 29 year old agreed a termination to his County Ground deal to make the move to the Bantams after 13 goals in 23 starts and 21 sub appearances last term.
